With the release of 1.0, I thought I should post a couple sample styles for people to build off of.

Stacked - Download

Stacked frees up some space by cleaning up the font sizes in the Hot section, and also moves the feed list below the section list, allowing for a wider article content view column.

Clean - Download

Clean removes the temperature fluff from the Hot window, as well as removing the Fever logo and menu. The menu can be accessed from within Chill Pill so this is no big deal.

INSTALLATION
Simply drop the .css files into ~/Library/Application Support/Chill Pill/Styles in order to install them.

--

As I mentioned on Twitter I'm having a small Firefox related bug with subscribing to a feed from Firefox.

I currently have the Web Feed type in the Firefox Applications preferences set to preview in Firefox, when I click on the feed icon in the address bar I get taken to the preview page as expected.

At the top I have set the 'Subscribe to this feed using' drop down menu to Chill Pill—I think I had to manually browse the applications directory to Chill Pill to get this—and when I click Subscribe Now nothing happens.

If I go ahead and set Chill Pill as the default application for Web Feeds and then click on the feed button I still get taken the to the preview page with the same results.

I'm guessing that Firefox is at fault here and just isn't properly passing the feed on to Chill Pill in any meaningful way. I do know I had it working fine with the Google Reader application hack that just redirected a feed back to Firefox with a link to Reader back before switching to Feedly and then to Fever more recently.

Repeatable Steps:
1. Go to the Firefox preferences and click on the Applications section. Filter the items or scroll to Web Feed and set the action to Preview in Firefox.
2. Find a page with a feed and click on the feed icon in the location bar at the top of the browser.
3. Select Chill Pill from the 'Subscribe to this feed using' drop down menu, if it is not listed click Choose Application… and point it to Chill Pill.
4. Click 'Subscribe Now'
5. Nothing should happen

Chill Pill 1.0.1
Firefox 3.5.2
Snow Leopard

PS: Posted hear because I got the following error from the report a bug form:
The ticket you requested does not exist for this project.

For some reason, "file:///Applications/Chill%20Pill.app/Contents/Resources/offline.html" opens as a new tab in my primary browser Safari every time I go offline instead of displaying it in Chill Pill.

I do have open external links in the background enabled.

Also, still can't submit bug reports for Chill Pill as far as I can tell :)

Hi All,

In Fluid.app I would simply press the 'right arrow' key when on a post to open the post in Safari. If I try this in Chill Pill it doesn't work. Im unable to open the post in Safari even though the keyboard shortcuts states its the 'right arrow' key.

How do you open posts in Safari?

Cheers,

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I'm currently using the Drudge theme, and it seems the CSS is off. I think it's more with my system although I don't know where, but it's just off. The feeds are not displayed under the "Last Refreshed" bar, but almost directly over it.

Here's a screenshot:
http://www.transfigured.net/stuff/Chill%20Pill.png

Also, the scrolling through the feeds stops working if I scroll through the feed items/posts.
