I.e. when working with images I have several times experienced clips using 300+ MB of ram due to a copied image. This is unacceptable on my machine. So if I could say that no clip must be larger than say 10 MB it would be nice.</p> <p>I connection to this if I have a very large image in clips and delete it by holding down alt and clicking the cross it seems that clips do not clean up its memory as the used memory only changes slightly. That should be simple, and it's something Jumpcut can't do. A few other suggestions: One thing Jumpcut can do that Clips can't: Clear the clipboard! This should be a drop-down option on the menu bar. I'm not sure I need the separate clipboards for each Space; there should be a way to disable that in the prefs.
