It remains completely responsive most of the time when this happens but it will cause the fans on my MBP to ramp up and the <a href="http://janpingel.com/misc/temp/loltemps.png">CPU hits 100<strong>C</strong></a>! That is not a typo, it is Celsius. To put it mildly it is somewhat concerning since I leave the system on 24/7 idling, frequently with the lid closed and I may not even be home all day when it happens. This does not seem to coincide with the time-stamps of the errors in the log.</p> <p>OS X 10.4.11 with the latest updates. </p>
