Please check if the firewall you're using allows for applications to be authorized regardless of the ports they use, and not just authorize a (application, port) pair. I have firewall set to allow specific services and I have repeatedly authorized Clips and ClipsHelper but when restarting or resuming from sleep I am required to allow each time. The entries for ClipsHelper and Clips are visible in the firewall settings and are set to allow. Is there anything I can do to prevent the repeated prompts to enable the connections?</p>
