@Okeanos: the discussion above was about people waiting for the next update after 1.3 - ie. 2.0 that came out two weeks ago. I don't think anyone is discussing 2.0.1 at all.

First of all, let me remind you that this is my very own assumption. I never said it was 3 month for fact.

Also, even the main dev is not very happy about not being able to give you any updates as of now. However, due to personal reasons he just can't help it. I am sure that you wouldn't want another 1.2 release. More importantly, while there are a number of annoyances and a couple of bugs around, 1.3 is essentially working and quite well at that.

I miss a couple of things myself and even am annoyed by some of its quirks, still I can put up with that because I know that there will be an update and deal with these issues. There are not that many Mac IRC clients of which the same can be said.

I fully agree with Shadowbottle. 3 months is a (bad) joke. I am off to using something else then and regret having paid for this software.

3 months? It's been decades in development time since 1.3 was released. Great way to treat paying customers! >_<

From what I have been told and from what I assume based on my own experience concerning this matter an update along with a (hopefully) large quantity of bugfixes is due in about 3 month.

At least that is when I personally expect something for Linkinus. Until then, I am afraid, you will have to live with these problems.

Sorry.

Hi,

there are two very annoying bugs, one being that Linkinus seems to be unable to re-connect automatically when the internet-connection is lost. This one has been discussed on the Linkinus chat a long time ago and yet no solution is brought up. The second (far more annoying) is that Linkinus doesn't seem to save portions of the chat properly in certain situation, i.e. in case of a system-crash. And even when I shut down the mac while Linkinus were running, it didn't save portions of the latest chat a few times. Can't imagine that I am the only one with this problem. In any case, I would like to know when we can expect a new bug-fixed version of Linkinus. Meanwhile I will switch to another, reliable irc-app which apparently Linkinus is not. :(
