   For the past month or so I've been having a problem getting Linkinus to stay connected. Randomly the Linkinus server console will show "An error occurred" and I will be disconnected from the server (in my case, Freenode). I have to manually reconnect and then rejoin all my channels. This is incredibly frustrating because it could happen anywhere from one to a dozen times a day. I constantly have to check Linkinus to make sure I'm indeed still connected.

   In addition, from time to time I'm disconnected from the server, but Linkinus still thinks I'm connected (the only way I notice is when I go into one of my channels and see there has been no channel activity at all over the past few hours). In this case I have to quit and reconnect just the same.

   Today, I've completely removed Linkinus (and Linkinus Agent) from my system (including all preferences, caches, application support files, and even logs). Restarted my system, and then downloaded and installed a fresh vanilla copy of Linkinus. The problem still occurred after only about half an hour of being connected to the server.

   The following is what my OS X console showed when the disconnect occurred in Linkinus:

   Same error message still appearing in the console on every error/disconnect, but different code number, if that means anything:

   I'm still getting similar problems and error messages. Things were going good for a couple weeks now, but now again the frequent errors return. This time, I randomly get disconnected, Linkinus tries to reconnect and fails every time. Even if I completely quit Linkinus and reopen it, it still won't connect to the server.

   The only way I can connect back to the IRC server is to completely restart my computer, open Linkinus, and then at that point it will connect again normally. This will last a few hours or maybe a day, and then disconnect and refuse to connect again until I completely restart.

   Is there anything I can do?

   Here is the console log from the point of initial random disconnect and Linkinus trying to reconnect a few times:

   As expected, once I restarted my computer it was able to connect again fine. It's very weird. I've had to restart 4-5 times in the past couple of days. Hopefully one of the devs or someone could please help me out finally?

   Getting this same error recently, except with code=60.
