I have my notices set to open in their own query so that I can read them later in the event that I wasn't around when they were sent.
However this is very annoying when I'm first connecting to a server. I get a whole bunch of notices from the server and from NickServ.
I know that I can just ignore NickServ, but what if it has something important to tell me?
It'd be great if such notices could remain in the console window during the initial connection process.

In Prefs > Miscellaneous, you can decide where those notices go. Either in the Connection's console, or in the currently selected channel, or their own queries.
