Do I really have to pay double license to be able to use it on both my mac pro and my macbook pro?

beside as I do now, use 1.3 licence on one and 2 on the other....

No, that should be covered with one license.

But when I tried, it said the license was in use and I got the choice of "disable linkinus". it might be because I had the client running on the mac pro at the same time. Because the 1.3 licence was used on that computer before - I just bought it so late that I got the 2.0 upgrade for free. Using 1.3 vs 2 isn't that big deal so I can live with it. but it would for sure put me off making extras for the client if I ever got the time. (I'm a developer)

But if the only way it works, is if both clients are not connected at the same time forgetting to close it would prevent me from using irc. which would kind of suck.

I use the same photoshop suite on both computers, the same editors etc.. And I just got one license on them. But the stupid irc software is the only thing to complain.

This is the joy of buying stuff vs piracy. If I have just found a pirated version somewhere I would have got to use it wherever I wanted. But since I actually paid for the software I'm bound to limitations.

Log the other client off irc if the other is connected and only one license. That would work perfectly for me. Plus make sure I never forget to log the other client off. ;)
