In addition to the global preferences Linkinus also offers local preferences attached to connections, channels and queries. These preferences are independent from each other and can be set using the inspectors. Just double click e.g. a channel to open such an inspector.
Here is the list of channels Linkinus will automatically join on connect. You can also set a time Linkinus waits before attempting to join, e.g. when you want to make sure the authentification has been done before trying to join a channel. You can add or remove channels and also toggle them one by one.
Here you can add connection specific commands that are performed after each successful connection. This is useful for running e.g. authentification commands not supported by Linkinus. If you want to make Linkinus wait between commands in automatic execution just add another line containing the number of seconds to wait. E.g.
In this example Linkinus will wait 5 seconds before running the second command.
Here you can add connection specific highlights.
Here you can toggle a number of user modes applying to yourself: * Invisible (+i): This mode will make you invisible for people running /who commands on a channel they are not in themselves. * Receive wallops (+w): This mode allows you to receive wallop messages. * Receive server notices (+s): This mode allows you to receive server notices that have been enabled for people without IRC Operator privileges. For example kill notices. * Host masking (+x): This will scramble your host name and make it harder for people to figure out your IP address.
Here you can see and modify the channel topic. Modifying usually requires operator rights.
